BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The promotion of access to information act, 2000 prescribes that a public body must provide details of records held by such public body so that any request for information may be accommodated.

In compliance with the above the uthukela district municipality as a public body hereby presents its manual containing its core functions, the list of all records kept by the council as well as the organisational structure of the heads of departments in relation to the council’s core functions.
